At Inventra, data privacy and owner transparency are our highest priorities. Because our suite functions on an offline-first architecture, you retain absolute ownership and control over your locally stored inventory and financial records.
1. Offline-First Storage Model
When you create records (including products, suppliers, customers, sales, purchases, and journal entry lines), they are stored locally on your device in an encrypted local database. This data is private and cannot be read by Inventra administrators or external parties.
2. Cloud Synchronization Services
For users on our Growth or Enterprise tiers, our application integrates secure cloud synchronization. When internet connectivity is detected, your local records are synced securely with our cloud database. The transmission uses secure SSL/TLS channels, and access tokens are validated on every sync request.
3. Account & Subscription Data We Collect
To provide and maintain the service, we collect minimal administrative account information:
- Your login email and credential hashes (handled by secure authentication services).
- Your business profiles data (used to group transaction ledgers).
- Subscription details and renewal records.
4. Backups and Data Portability
You can export the entire database into a single, structured JSON backup file at any time. This file is generated entirely on your device and contains all local data. It is your responsibility to keep your backup files in a secure location.
